A downloadable game for Windows

A remake of the 1996 Game Magnetic Planet by Kiwi Games, that was published as shareware-adgame for TDK using the Q-Pop-Engine.

In this turn-based strategy game,  you control one colour of robots on the Magnetic Planet.

The Remake is an Executable for modern Windows (32 or 64 bit), that is executed instead of the old one inside the game-directory. The old executable is still needed for some assets.

Spread your children on to your desired biomes, in the reproductive round.

Search for food, make children and outrun predators in the survival round.

New Features are:

* Upscaling using HQX or other Methods (the factor is automatically chosen)

* Translation can be easily created by INI files.

*Multiplayer like Q-Pop

*Options for faster/disabled Animations

Install instructions

Unzip the MPLAN32 directury there you want to install it (for example C:\Games\).

Run the MPLAN32.EXE to run the  Game under modern Windows (32 or 64 bit). The other executable (MPLANET.EXE) is the original engine for Windows 3.1. It won't directly run under 64-Bit Windows but is still needed for assets contained as resources.

If you want to create your own translations, look at the format of the INI files.
